Where's George? is the website and home of a world-wide currency tracking project. Users mark bills with the address of the site, log the year and serial number, and then register them with the site. Any time the bill is found thereafter and entered into the site again (known as "hits"), the user is notified and can see where that note has been.
Significance
REDdimension Wiki Circle founder, Jon Reddick, has been a regular participant in the Where's George site since January 2005. He has his own Where's George bill stamping kit consisting of various inks & stamps used to mark various denominations of bills with the website's address.
Notable Batches of Bills
- Entered over 1,250 bills to be used as prize money in his Second Annual Birthday Texas Hold'em Poker Tournaments in 2006. More than 200 of those have gotten hits.
- Jon's friends, Tom & Beth Ching, gave Jon ten $100 bills to enter & mark, which were spent on their 20th anniversary vacation across country in June 2009
- Entered over 700 bills to be used as prize money in his Third Annual Birthday Texas Hold'em Poker Tournaments in 2009.

- A 2003 One Dollar Bill with five hits (the "yard sale" bill)
- A 2003A One Dollar Bill with four hits (one of the 2006 "poker tournament" bills)
