Debbie McNulty
Debbie McNulty was born Debra Lynn Phillips on February 25, 1964. She is also known as "Deb." Her parents are Charles and Carol Phillips, and she has one sister, Linda Fujimoto nee Phillips.
Childhood
Debbie was born was born in San Diego, CA. As a little girl, her family lived in Thousand Oaks, CA and in Maryland, but the Phillips' eventually settled in Brea, CA in 1975 where Debbie remained through college graduation. Her parents still live in Brea.
As a teen, she attended Brea Olinda High School (the old one, before they tore it down and built the new one) from which she graduated with honors in 1982. She went on to study electrical engineering at California Polytechnic University, Pomonoa. She graduated from Cal Poly with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1987.
Occupations
With the exception of a couple of retail jobs in her teenage years, Debra has worked her entire adult life as an engineer. She started while still in college as a co-op student at General Dynamics, who hired her permanently after graduation.
After years with the Valley Systems and Electronics Division, she left the defense industry for the traffic industry, starting software engineering work for Peek Traffic in Tallahassee.
In 2005, she crossed to greener pastures by accepting an offer from Peek competitor Econolitewhere she works to this day. Ironically, Econolite is actually located in Anaheim, only a few miles from where she grew up. She telecommutes to work from her home in Palmetto, FL.
Residences
Since college graduation, Debbie has lived in Oceanside, CA, Mira Mesa, CA, and in Tallahassee, FL. In 2001, her family moved Palmetto, FL where she currently resides with her husband, his girlfriend, two children, two dogs, and snake.
Family
Debbie married Kevin James McNulty on September 4, 1988 in Santa Ana, CA. They moved to Tallahassee in 1991 where both their children were subsequently born. Their son Sean Patrick McNulty was born on February 19, 1993, and their daughter Erin Caitlin McNulty was born on July 12, 1995.
The McNultys are polyamorous meaning they believe in sustainable, romantic relationships with multiple partners in an atmosphere of love, honesty, and constant, open communication. Both Kevin and Debbie have other partners, and Debbie has been seeing her boyfriend since 1996. Kevin's girlfriend, Pamela Kay Harper, lives with the family in Palmetto. Kevin met Pamela through mututal friends in 2003, and Pamela moved in with the family later that same year.
Kevin works for Ceridian Benefit Services in St. Petersburg, FL, Pamela majors in Hospitality Management at the University of South Florida, Sarasota-Manatee. Sean attends Manatee High School in Bradenton, FL after being recruited into their AP Plus program. Erin attends Buffalo Creek Middle School in Palmetto.
