Origin

In 2007 the Killearn Poker Tour folded when it's founder Jon "Mr. Poker" Reddick moved to Jacksonville. Almost immediately players began asking All-In when he would hold his first tournament. Working with former KPT players "The Natural" and "Protect Your Nuts", George constructed his first poker table.

The PVPL ran its first league for 6 months during the 2nd half of 2007. There were 2 tournaments held on the 2nd Saturday of each month. At the end of the 6 month league a Tournament of Champions was help. The top 8 players in the league standings were invited to play.

For the 2008 season the league members voted for a few changes to the league. The league would now run 9 months to allow more people to qualify for the Tournament of Champions. The person in 1st place in the league standing would receive an additional 30% in chips to start the T.O.C. All players wishing to play in the Tournament of Champions must play in at least 50% of the league tournaments.
