At a meeting on the FSU campus in 1994, DC of Operations Mary "Radar" Kleinfeldt took the floor for her weekly departmental report. Having two items of importance to announce, she began by saying, "Okay, I have two big things..." to which someone in the audience responded, "Yes, you do!" which immediately led to severe blushing for Mary, and raucous laughter for the rest of the members in attendance.
From that point on whenever anyone started to address the crowd by saying "I've got a couple of things..." the crowd would invariably jump in with "Are they BIG things?" or "...two BIG things..." or some variation thereof.
