Talk:USS Khai Tam
Yeah, that's how I thought "fictitious" should be spelled, too, but it's not really "ficticious." --Reddick 15:29, 13 September 2007 (CDT)
I'm boycotting that crazy all-caps self-aggrandizing "STARFLEET" thing. I say we just do it as "Starfleet" like any other normal word, eh? --Reddick 15:31, 13 September 2007 (CDT)
I think STARFLEET actually does it in a lame attempt to avoid copyright infringement, but I think it actually does easily separate the club from the Trek organization to save confusion. Your call.
If it gets too confusing somewhere, then we can revisit it. But since we can easily link to "STARFLEET" at sfi.org to clarify who we're talking about in a Wiki article, we can avoid any confusion that proper capitalization might try to introduce. --Jon 15:29, 19 September 2007 (CDT)
Jon, why doesn't:
Read about more Khai Tam nicknames here.
Work? --Tai 11:03, 20 September 2007 (CDT)
The [[Category: tag is special. It can appear anywhere on the page and still make it down to the bottom, so it was perceived as a categorization, and placed the whole article in the nicknames category. if you want to link to a category you need to place a : before the Category name to flag it that it is not a categorization, like this:
''Read about more ''Khai Tam'' nicknames [[:Category:Khai_Tam_Nicknames|here]].'' --Jon 12:11, 20 September 2007 (CDT)
P.S. I edited your comment above, because it was placing this talk thread into the nicknames category, too. --Jon 12:12, 20 September 2007 (CDT)
The Christmas parade float was December of '95 because I was still there... I was give the project and nearly dropped the ball on that one too... will fix. CT
A couple of edits to the database of members: Brien Allen was DC of Engineering before me. Also, if this list includes Shuttle Heritage era folks, you need to add Randy Eisner. (He was the one who convinced me to come to a meeting originally).... CT
