First Try at Including an MP3
Okay, I put in the flash MP3 code, but it's not playing...do I have to upload the mp3 again or something?
I'm sure the MP3 never uploaded, because it was an unacceptable extension. Try again with the same name and you should be set. --Reddick 18:30, 16 September 2007 (CDT)
It's playing but WAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY too fast. ??? - Tai
Now it's playing, but JUUUUUUUUUST the right speed. :) I had to give an absolute path to the MP3 because FlashMP3 couldn't find it. You can find that path by doing a "Properties" on the not-working image. --Reddick 18:56, 16 September 2007 (CDT)
Terrific, thanks! - Tai
Oh, also, it was WAAAAAAAY too big; over 1MB. I shrunk it down and did my best to preserve the audio quality. --Reddick 18:59, 16 September 2007 (CDT)
Sounds fine. What is the file size we strive for?
Smaller is always better, of course. If possible choose short quality samples rather than full-length, compressed ones. Under 200k would be a good target for MP3s I think. --Reddick 22:46, 16 September 2007 (CDT)
