Hambone
Hambone is the poker nickname for Michael Creamer.
Origin
Michael was given the name Hambone by Rob Nucatola.
The story behind the naming has nothing to do with poker. It was a Sunday on which the name Hambone was conceived by Rob. Michael was preparing a Sunday lunch when he was visited by Rob and his girlfriend (Heather Barrett) unexpectedly. Michael invited them to stay for lunch consisting of a slow cooked pork roast, rice, gravy, biscuits, green beans and iced tea. On the following Monday, Rob referred to Michael as Hambone while at work.
Curious, Michael asked Rob why he had called him Hambone. The response went something like this, "Well, lunch was really good and I had to give you a name because of it. I didn't think Pot Roast sounded right, so I came up with Hambone". And thus the name Hambone has, ever since, been associated with Michael Creamer. Once Michael started playing poker the nickname was an easy carryover.
