Jon, can you please delete the history for "sanitizing" purposes? --Tai

Excessive Bolding

Want to get your opinion on style, Kev. I notice you're a fan of bolding almost every link, and I don't think its necessary. The link is highlight enough, I feel, and the bold actually makes it a little tougher to read, particularly when there are lot of them in a block of text. If we want to follow the accepted style of Wikipedia, they don't do that (but we never swore we'd follow that). Thoughts on the subject? --Jon 18:51, 23 September 2007 (CDT)

I was only doing that because I had seen you do it, especially with names. I have no problem with not bolding. Want me to stop? Why don't you make a page for the help section that's like a style sheet that says when the acceptable occassions are to bold or italicize (bold a movie or book title, italicize a TV show or magazine article, italicize foriegn words like nee, etc.), how to name graphics, when to use a hyperlink, when to use an internal lik=nk (just the first time it appears on the page, or every time, or what), etc.? I'm good with whatever you want to do. --Tai

That's a great idea! Don't just depend on the random shit you see me do -- I'm too disorganized from page to page to be used as an example (other than bad!). I love what we're building here, and as far as I'm concerned you're an equal partner, so I welcome your help in establishing those guidelines. Here's a page where we can work: Help:Formatting Guidelines --Jon 16:12, 24 September 2007 (CDT)

TOC Padding

Working with the starship infobox led me to find the code for increasing the margin on the TOC, which I've already done on your page and mine. --Jon 13:14, 28 September 2007 (CDT)

Laying Out Photos

Jon, I added some more photos to my page and I think it could look better, but I'm not sure how. Any suggestions? --Tai

I tried a little. I don't think you can go wrong with more pictures, though -- it only makes the story of you all that more captivating. Now that you have several photos, I shrank all body photos down to 150px thumbnails, and added another cleanbreak or two. Not sure I like the spacing of the baby picture, though. Looking good! --Jon 06:46, 8 October 2007 (CDT)
