Scully is the current snake of Clan McNulty. She is a banded-phase California Kingsnake approximately five feet in length.
The clan had a snake, Ruby, for several years which died in 1998. While they weren't actively pursuing a replacement for Ruby, a family friend had recently purchased a snake and was now looking to find a home for it. The McNulty's agreed to take in Scully, then a foot long, and have had her ever since.
