Mr. Poker is the poker nickname for Jon Reddick.
Origin
The name Mr. Poker was given to Jon collectively by many of his card-playing friends, but perhaps most vocally by Rob Nucatola (who is keen on pronouncing it MIS-ter po-CARE).
It is based on Jon's appreciation for what Rob calls "the pageantry of poker." Jon has amassed a great quantity of poker equipment (personalized chips, custom table-top, casino cup holders, professional-grade cards, etc.), runs his poker tournaments with great attention to detail, tracks the results with computer software, and then posts the running statistics online for all of the participants to review.
