"T2" is Tom Voulieris' poker nickname, but predates his participation in any Mandarin Poker Tour or Birthday Poker Tournament events.
Both Tom Voulieris and Tom Ching were co-workers in the same office, but due to confusion when just talking about "Tom," Tom Voulieris was dubbed "T2" or "the second Tom."
Despite the tongue-in-cheek slight as being the secondary Tom, T2 also resonates as reference the cybernetic robots from the Terminator series of motion pictures, suggesting that T2 is nearly unstoppable (as evidenced by his play history).
