The REDdimension Wiki was created on August 28, 2007 by Jon Reddick.
It is not a replacement for, but an addition to the data that already exists on Wikipedia. All articles on this wiki should answer the question, "What significance does x have as it/he/she relates to our family and friends?"
So an article may exist on Wikipedia, but the same article may also exist here that answers the above question. For example, you might read the very thorough article about Gatlinburg and Wikipedia, and then read the more targeted article about Gatlinburg here on REDdimension Wiki. The 'Pedia article will give you the broad strokes, but on the REDwiki article you'll learn that it's a favorite vacation spot for the Reddick family and some of their favorite places there to visit.
