'''Manatee High School''' is a public high school in Bradenton, FL and is part of the School District of Manatee County. It serves students in grades nine through twelve. Though the school has changed names and locations several times over the years, it has existed in one form or another since 1897. It has been in its current location since 1930, and has been known by its current name since 1958.

Manatee is known in the district for offering an academic curriculum known as the AP+ Program. The AP+ Program encourages students to challenge themselves with the most difficult curriculum possible in preparation for higher levels of education. Students of Manatee High School also actively involve in the Dual-Enrollment program where High School students have the opportunity to take courses at the local Manatee Community College.

Manatee's nickname is the Hurricanes and the mascot is Billy Blowhard. Manatee's athletic teams compete in District 11 of the Florida High School Athletic Association's Class 5A. In its more than 100-year history, the school has won state championships in several sports, including four in football.

Manatee is the high school of [[REDdimension Wiki Circle]] member [[Sean McNulty]]. He was accepted into the AP+ program and started as a freshman there in 2007. In addition to the AP+ program, Sean also belongs to the drama club.

In 1996, MHS had alumni in all 50 states, Washington, DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and 22 foreign countries. Florida had the largest number of alumni followed by Georgia. Of the foreign countries, Canada with 18 alumni had the most followed by Australia with 9.
