Jon is avid Xbox game player, enjoying primarily single-player games, but periodically playing some multiplayer games. Occasionally that means match-ups with random people from pretty much anywhere in the world.

He's noticed a particular trend in the selection of gamertags; a trend that has become one of his pet peeves. That's the asinine selection of an online identity that is intentionally violent, not to mention lacking in creativity. Invariably these include words like "kill," "murder," and "sniper," and just reek of poor sportsmanship. The first impression they give is that of aggressive play whose only goal is to attack and kill.

Ultimately, it means the first impression is aggressive and confrontational without interest in just having fun. Maybe that's not the intent, but that's what I pick up on.

This is a place where Jon can document these gamertags for all to mock.
