CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'VE FOUND IT!

Chances are you clicked on the Atari 2600 link because, like me, you loved your old Atari video game console. You might even have one sitting in your closet with a stack of cartridges.

Well, although it's not really part of MAME, my desire to share arcade emulation with you has extended to my favorite home game console, the little Atari 2600.

SO WHAT DO YOU MEAN, "I FOUND IT?"

What I mean is this: If you haven't already discovered it on your own by browsing the CD, there is a folder on the MAME CD simply named, "A." Inside of that folder is a complete Atari 2600 emulator and over 500 cartridge images (ROMs) of your favorite classic Atari games.

To use the emulator, just copy the whole "A" folder to your hard drive, and then, from the folder on your hard drive, double-click on the "Stella" executable.
