COMMUNICATIONS

Pam Kalbacher, DC, Communications     This is our fearless leader, Ensign Pam Kalbacher, Editor in Chief of the Hailing Frequency. She is responsible for the majority of the research done for new and exciting story ideas. She is also the one who sets the deadlines and keeps the rest of us toe-ing them.

She chose a half Human and half Trill personna. She claims to truly enjoy putting the Hailing Frequency together each month, and says that she finds it therapeutic. Her favorite quote is, "Fate protects fools, small children and ships named Enterprise!" Outside of the Comunications Dept., she is highly involved in the yearly Adopt-a-Family project.

Amy Rogers, ADC, Communications     Amy Rogers, second in command of Communications (Yes! Power!), writes reviews of various fun away missions specializing in movies, her favorite subject. She chose a Klingon personna, and her favorite quote is, "If you didn't vote, you have no right to complain." She's also the mother of two and a student at the local college.
Justin Carmical, AADC, Communications     Technician I Justin Carmical, also known as Cabin Boy, is our third in command of Communciations. For a while he was our Mid-Western Correspondent and then he moved to Florida in April of 2000. He gives us humor and insight into all the articles he writes for the newsletter. He has chosen to be the same race as the Federation President (we're still trying to determine the name of the race). And his favorite quote is, "?????"
Scott Campbell, Communications     Commander Scott Campbell's nickname is "Gerbil Boy" because at a convention, he sprang from a dead sleep at the passing mention of a gerbil in a nearby conversation. He has chosen the first Giant Mutant Gerbil accepted into Starfleet as his personna. His favorite quote is "What the hell do you want?!" He often gets stuck writing articles for the Hailing Frequency but claims to enjoy it, so it all works out in the end. He is also a member of a flight group in the Khai Tam Marines.
John Rogers, Communications     John "JOOS" Rogers is long term member of the Khai Tam and is husband to Amy. He is the co-creator of the Comm pages. He is a big fan of Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time", and spends many hours with his computer, of which they are very happy together! :-)
Mark Donovan, Communications, picture unavailable     This is Chick. His real name is Mark Donovan. He is more of a silent member of our department but likes to keep abreast of the happenings in the department and the ship. He's our own communications link with Comp USA and brings us news of bargains and discounts.
